I'm doing work! See?I'm being a good student!

The big assignment(sort of big) is a paper for Care of Magical Creatures..I say it's big cause I feel a bit silly for what I ended up writing. Coming from a muggle family, I've never really had an experience with magical creatures(or maybe I have and didn't realize what they were) Either way, other people have fun stories and,
well...

There are a couple of creatures I want as a pet. Though I've had a soft spot for Tadfoals since I was young. Well, Taafoals are technically the young versions of the Hippocampus'. I did a lot of reading and imagining being someone else...usually settling on Greek mythology, the people and creatures that seemed to go hand in hand without any doubt that it was possible...maybe it was a precursor to where I am now. And the Hippocampus appeared in a lot of those stories. I think I'd like to have the best qualities of a horse and fish(mer-horse). And I'd like to have it as a Tadfoal so I could raise and bond with it. I might not be able to ride it around my neighborhood or at Howarts, but I'd make sure to travel to the wide open country so he can spread his wings, which will no doubt be enormous once he's fully grown. Though the downside would come once it grew up and felt cramped and needed to be with it's own kind. Or run off for adventures, which I wouldn't mind going with for that part. But raising a Hippocampus in the dorms and then in a Chicago apartment would raise a few eyebrows and I don't think domesticating this adventurous and wild animal would help anyone.

The other work we had to do? I was a bit overwhelmed...we had to start producing our own patronus...*overwhelmed!* but I've been practicing(usually late at night in the kind of hidden hall outside our common room cause I don't want anyone to see my constant messing up)
But after lots of practice and frustration, I finally produced one!

I hope I can impress Professor Lufkin now...
